Its Pit..za Day…!

One day the Centre organized Pizza Day. After the group time , all the children were gathered in a circle and teacher passed the pizza dough, cheese and sauce to children to make pizza. Children were excited to put the toppings and they were eagerly waiting for the lunch time to have the pizza they made.

Marley: “ I love Piza”

Remi: “Silas. Do you like Pizza? I love the cheesy pizza. Its delicious.”

I felt that the kids interacted better with one another when they sat down to make pizza together. They were very excited to bake pizza the day after the teacher said that they would be making it the next day, which is why I thought this moment was important. I could read the happiness and wonder in every child’s face than I could with words. They can engage and form deep relationships with each other due to  this activity.
