Feedbacks

It has been such a pleasure having Nithya as a practicum student in the Mallard classroom here at Kamloops Kidz. Nithya fit into our program and class so well that I often forgot she was still a student. She has come such a long way and it has been so wonderful to be able to watch her grow and learn. Her circle times have improved so much since she first started and I am so proud of all of her hard work. Thank you for letting me be your host it has been so amazing to be a part of your ECE journey.

Nithya was very professional and treated her practicum like a job. If for any reason she could not attend she was sure to let me know and made sure to make up her missed time. She was wonderful with the children and was able to form some strong bonds with many of the children in our classroom. Nithya is a fast learner and quickly became part of the team here at Kamloops Kidz, I honestly forgot she was a student because she was able to integrate into the team so well. I would encourage Nithya to practice doing circle  and reading aloud, with anything pratice makes perfect. I have been here 9 years and can still struggle with group time some days. I hope you enjoy your break and look forward to hosting you again in the fall.

Good morning, thank you for keeping me updated. Here is feedback for the past couple weeks:

It has be great to have Nithya back in our classroom. The children really enjoy having her be a part of our class. Nithya is a warm, friendly, kind soul, it shines through as I observe her interacting with the children. I would encourage Nithya to practice doing groups, when I was first starting out I would sit with my daughters at home and practice doing group, I found this very helpful. I have been in the ECE field for almost 10 years and I still have days where group is difficult. You cant let the children see you sweat and if something isnt going well its okay to switch it up, sometimes the book is boring thats okay, sing a song instead.
